Wandering through the desert.

Rumor groaned at she walked through the hot desert, beads of sweat nearly covering her body with her silver dog tags clinking together. She pushed her messy black hair out of her eyes as she looked around, not seeing anything for miles. She sighed and took another gulp of water from her canteen and continued on to see what she could possible find out here.

Ness pushed over a car door, "water." He mumbled more to himself then anyone else. He looked into the distance and with his parasite aided eyes he saw a girl, he mumbled to himself, any other day he would have ran over and had a jolly good time ripping into her flesh. But today was no normal day. Today he had found the pills. He wound up the window in the car door and looked at him self. No veins, he dropped the door and started digging for water.

The mental thought (see Jacob's Search, first post) passed through the desert.
Rumor? It said, from Jacob, Rumor's boyfriend.

Rumor blinked hearing her name, she sighed, it was just Jacob checking in on her. Yes Jacob? She sent back with a sigh.

Ness looked into the air, "Whys voices." He said in a half parasite half human form, he pulled his bucket of sandy water up and had a pill. He looked around, the girl was closer now, she proberly could see him now.

Where are you? I got taken by...my brother. Jacob sent.

John floored it past two people, a girl and, a.......Ness?
What the hell was he doing there?
John stopped, told Alex to stop shooting.
"Need a ride?" He asked Ness.
He then looked at the girl.
"You too?"

((OOC: I look exactly like Jacob, so yeah, get confused xD))

Jacob sensed Rumor in the area.
He landed.
"Rumor." He said, walking to her.
"John, meet Rumor. My girlfriend." Jacob said.

Rumor looked back and forth between John and Jacob, of course, they had to look exactly a like, one more way to confuse her. "Nice meetin' ya John,"

Rumor reached out for Jacob's hand.
Jacob held it.

Ness looked up. "Depends where are you going?" He asked looking around, there wasn't much here but he could proberly run faster then the car.

"Nice to meet you too, uh, Rumor." John said, looking around.
"Now, we need to leave now." John said, eyeing a large blob of parasites coming towards them concerningly fast.
He got a .50 cal rifle out and zoomed in on the scope and shot 5 of them with explosive ammo.
He waited for them to get in.

Rumor looked at Jacob and shrugged as she got in.

Jacob climbed in the back, next to the gun.
As he heard the growls, he looked at John.
"Let's go." He said, and held his arms up as the Parasites ran at them.
An invisible force shot them back.

Rumor glanced at Jacob and grinned. She looked to her back, seeing her rifle still slung in place.

John hit the shifter into " Overdrive."
They tore out, heading out to the HQ.
A parasite hit the window, clawing him in the shoulder.
He pulled out his pistol and shot the whole 14 round clip into the bastard.
When they got to the base, he fell out of the driver seat.
He was unconsious from all the blood pouring out of his wounded shoulder.

Jacob jumped out of the back, and as soon as a bunch of the workers came up,
"GET A FUCKING MEDIC!" Jacob yelled.
The workers put John on a hoverlift, and they took him into a room.
Jacob sat, with Rumor and Alex outside of the room.

John awoke in a daze.
He tried to stand up, but remembered, by the sharp pain in his shoulder what happened.
He grimaced.
John then found a dinner packet by his side.
He put water on it, and it came out to be a piece of steak.
He wolfed it down.
He then called out, "Hey Jacob, where you at?"

Jacob came in.
"Dude, you suck." He said, smiling.
The doctors had just told him Ed John was gonna be okay.

John smiled back, weakly.
He was still pretty doped up from all the meds.
"Heh. At least I'm not a parasite and your not the one putting the bullet in my head right now."
John said, jestingly.

"That's true, I guess. Guess what I found out.." Jacob said.
"And yes, by found out, I made the scientists at the Company tell me.."

John looked up.
"What's that."

"Freaks can't get turned as easily as normals."

"Well they finally did something useful." John said.
He laid back and unintentionally fell asleep.

Jacob sighed.
"Sleep well." He said, patting the bed, and leaving.
